First thing Annie discovered - she loves to cook.

And clean.

And meet people.

Although her general consensus on EVERYONE is 'nice, want to talk more, not at all attracted'.

This is a shop that Annie now owns. I felt a little grocery store/bakery would be nice for her, but her cooking skills aren't very high yet, and she doesn't have much money. So just an undecorated grocery for now :)

...running a grocery is apparently a whirlwind mix of tedious and confusing for Annie.

Plus, she thinks EVERY SINGLE ONE of her customers is fugly. I mean, point taken with this dude. He has a number painted on his chest. But this?

This is just plain rude.
"I like you, but your face makes me physically sick."
"Ok lady, I just wanted to know where the bread is..."

FINALLY, she meets someone ACR leads her to flirt with.

Aaaaand five minutes later, someone she likes much more. This dude gets 2 bolts, so I'm sticking with him. Plus:

He thinks she's cool.

His features are pleasant.

And he came over when she asked. I kinda let ACR take it from there...

Basically, he ended up moving in :) Oh, and his name is Dickson Butler.

I gave him darker hair and sideburns. I'm not entirely sure why. I like them.

Ok, so some explaining:

The BACC rules say unlocking this career requires the most expensive computer, a pinball machine, an arcade machine and a games console.

I've added that the neighbourhood needs a games shop or arcade or something similar, and the individual sim needs 5 or more gaming hobby points.

Dickson's hobby is actually tinkering, but he can build it up anyway. Seen as he brought $11,000, he'll be buying a games shop. I'm planning on making an upstairs area where he can tinker and possibly invent stuff when he has more money, but for now, it looks like this:
